| A Grammy-nominated producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Mike
Elizondo first achieved fame as part of hip-hop trailblazer Dr. Dre’s crew,
co-writing, producing smash hits for Eminem, 50 Cent and Dre himself. In short
order, he went on to collaborate with Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Xzibit,
Busta Rhymes, Eve, Rakim, The Game, Warren G and other heavyweights; soon his
renown spread into the pop and rock worlds. Elizondo has consistently
demonstrated an ability to create chart-topping, critically acclaimed music with
stars and up-and-comers alike in an array of genres.
Elizondo’s range is hardly limited to the leading lights of hip-hop. He
has also penned and/or helmed albums and key tracks for Alanis Morissette
(“Wunderkind,” end title from Chronicles of Narnia), Pink, Rilo Kiley, Gwen
Stefani (“Rich Girl,” f/Eve), Maroon 5, Fiona Apple, Eric Clapton, The Rolling
Stones (co-producing a remix of the ’70s classic “Miss You” with Dre), Nelly
Furtado, Sheryl Crow, Macy Gray, Shelby Lynne, and other pop, rock and R&B
artists.
