| Savan Kotecha
is a songwriter from Austin, TX who is a member
of the producer/writer camp Maratone (with Max Martin and Rami
Yacoub). Working with artists like
Enrique Iglesias, Carrie Underwood, and Celine Dion. Savan excels in writing
melody and unique pop, R&B, and rock lyrical concepts. One of his biggest
accomplishments thus far has been scoring a # 1 in the US with Carrie
Underwood’s first ever single Inside Your Heaven, as well as the Vanessa Hudgen’s hit Say OK. He also had big hits in Europe with Westlife’s Obvious and Amazing as well as
Simon Cowell’s The X Factor winner, Shayne Ward’s, If That’s Ok With You and No U Hang Up. He has the
2nd single off Celine Dion’s latest album called Eyes On Me. Savan started
off writing songs and playing piano by ear when he was 15 and began making a
name for himself in high school by buying a music business book and sending demo
tapes he made in his bedroom to every address in that book. One thing led to another and he started
getting responses and networking which eventually led to a publishing deal. Savan has now working with some of
today’s biggest and brightest songwriters, including: Max Martin, Rami, Andrew
Frampton and Ryan Tedder just to name a few. He counts some of his biggest influences
as Lionel Richie, Babyface, and Max Martin. Savan is
currently very hard at work writing the next big hits with artists like Celine
Dion, Enrique Iglesias, Nick Lachey and Westlife.
