As rock trio The Police, singer/songwriter/bass player Sting, guitarist Andy Summers and drummer Stewart Copeland made their debut in the late 1970's and until they disbanded in the mid-1980's, they left an indelible mark on the musical world with such Sting compositions as EVERY BREATH YOU TAKE, DON'T STAND SO CLOSE TO ME, EVERY LITTLE THING SHE DOES IS MAGIC and ROXANNE.

Sting then began his remarkable solo career and his entire wealth of outstanding compositions is part of the EMI catalog. He is a current writer signed through our London office and you can find an extensive biography of him in the list of EMI UK's Songwriters which is shown on the United Kingdom section of this site.

Following is a list of some of the key songs from Sting's back catalog along with a few of the artists who have covered them. All titles shown are Sting solo compositions unless otherwise indicated.
