Superbutt started up in 2000, rising from the ashes of former major label acts. The modern metal band began playing gigs in April 2000 and toured in practically all the countries in Europe ever since.

Superbutt’s first album, ‘2 Minutes For Roughing’ came out in Hungary on Magneoton / Warner in 2001. The second, titled ‘The Unbeatable Eleven’ was released in Hungary in 2003 and in further European countries (France, Benelux, GAS) in 2004, by different smaller labels.

Through the years Superbutt toured with bands such as Clawfinger, Ignite, Pro-Pain, shared stages in different countries in Europe with Rollins Band, Misfits, Soulfly, Oomph, Die Happy and many more, as well as a lot of locally well known acts in France, Benelux, Austria, Germany etc. The band appeared on the main stage of major metal festivals, such as the With Full Force in Germany in 2005, and is a headliner on all the major rock festivals in Hungary and Central Europe.

In 2006, Superbutt released their third full length, titled Black Soup, which was picked up by Warner Germany as well. The album was in the top 20 of the DAT German Alternative Charts for 8 weeks in August-September 2006. The record also came out in France and the Benelux countries in the fall of the year.

In 2007, Superbutt got very good response from the editors and the listeners during a radio promotion campaign in Germany, which resulted in significant airplay on independent stations. The same year, the band released a four track EP in Hungarian, with 3 brand new titles and a cover version of a Hungarian rock song originally written in 1981, to the poem of Attila József, one of the greatest Hungarian poets in the early 20th Century. After the active summer festival season, Superbutt plays a series of local concerts, then a 3 weeks tour in France in November. The forthcoming album is expected in 2008.
