The energetic trio is back!
Voicst (Tjeerd Bomhof, Sven Woodside and Joppe Molenaar), the Amsterdam based multi facetted band, are back.
They spent time in New York to record their long awaited second studio album.
In the Big Apple they worked with renowned Interpol producer Peter Katis.
The result is an eclectic, energetic mix of electronic, hip-hop and rock music.
A Tale Of 2 Devils is the title of the album.
The band has received raving reviews and their album has already been mentioned as ‘the best to come out of 2008’ on the musical side.
Radio and TV have also re-discovered Voicst. They’ve appeared in a few big television shows already and the best listened to morning shows on Radio have invited them to play live.
The first single to come from the album is called Everyday I Work On The Road.
Radio 3fm has awarded this great song with the title ‘MEGAHIT’.
This results in heavy airplay on this national radio channel.
A Tale Of 2 Devils entered the album charts in the top 30, which is an impressive start for them. We expect the album to climb higher on the charts in the next few weeks.
The album will be promoted via an extensive club tour that Voicst will embark on.
The tour will bring them in almost every big city and outskirt in the Netherlands.
So look out for them.
On an international level things are also developing. Belgium and Spain will release the album and talks are being held with labels in other territories.
